Clean TeQ Water (ASX:CNQ) was awarded a AU$1.2 million contract for the engineering of an industrial wastewater treatment plant based on its DESALX ion exchange technology by Nyrstar for its European operations, according to an Australian bourse filing on Thursday.
This follows the completion of successful pilot trials at the site using the technology from 2023 to 2024, the filing said.
The design package is expected to be delivered within 28 weeks from the commencement of work.
The delivery stage is subject to conditional progression, the completion of the design work and agreement on final commercial terms, with no binding obligation on either party to proceed. The expected value of this delivery stage is AU$9.4 million, subject to final scope and budget confirmation.
Its shares rose 6% on market close Thursday.
