大公时评昨(5月1日)发表评论文章，指在某种意义上，中美正处于“你死我活的‘战争状态’”，批评长和在关键时刻出售港口，“将战略资源拱手相让予美国财团，无异于资敌和背叛”。就长和出售港口事件，外交部和国家市场监督管理总局先后发声，表达了中央的强烈关切和严正警示。但长和却对此充耳不闻，执迷不悟，如果决意一条路走到黑，最终结果必将会碰得头破血流。
文章警告，若长和坚持出售港口将面对极其严重后果，可用的法律不只是《反垄断法》必要时“国家安全的法律都可以使用的”。
文章引述中央港澳工作办公室、国务院港澳事务办公室主任夏宝龙日前指出：“在大是大非面前，坚定地与国家站在一起，坚定地站在历史正确的一边，这是中国人应有的风骨和气节。如果有人在关键时刻出卖国家利益、替敌人摇旗呐喊，香港同胞不答应，全国人民也不答应，绝不会有什么好下场，必将背负历史的骂名。”文章指何去何从，长和应当作出明智的抉择。(wl/da)
