Oil States International Shares Rise After Swinging to Q1 Earnings

Oil States International (OIS) shares rose 23.4% in recent Thursday trading after the company reported Q1 adjusted net income of $0.06 per diluted share, compared with a loss of $0.03 a year earlier.

Four analysts polled by FactSet expected earnings of $0.04.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $159.9 million, down from $167.3 million a year earlier.

Four analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $164.1 million.
