媒体援引对欧盟贸易专员Maros Sefcovic的采访报道称，欧盟可以从美国购买更多天然气和农产品，以解决贸易不平衡问题。

　　Sefcovic向美国贸易代表贾米森·格里尔和商务部长霍华德·卢特尼克提出的关键论点是，如果将美国对欧盟的服务出口计算在内，这将使美国对欧洲的整体贸易逆差降至仅为500亿欧元左右。

　　“如果我们关注的逆差问题是500亿欧元，我相信我们确实可以通过购买液化天然气、大豆等农产品或其他领域来很快解决这个问题，”Sefcovic说。

　　他警告称，要达成“对我们的成员国和欧洲议会来说显然是好的、可以接受的”协议将“非常困难”。

　　Sefcovic表示，欧盟认为10%的关税水平“非常高”，暗示欧盟不会接受将关税维持在该水平的协议。
