Capstone Copper (ASX:CSC) reported Thursday first quarter adjusted earnings of $0.01 per diluted share, compared with a loss of $0.01 per diluted share a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected adjusted earnings per diluted share of $0.04.
Revenue for the three months ended March 31 was $533.3 million, compared with $339.9 million a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $504 million.
For the year, the company continues to expect capital expenditure of $315 million, capitalized stripping of $210 million, and exploration expenditure of $25 million.
