Rio Tinto Shareholders Reject Palliser Capital's Proposed Review of Dual-Listed Structure

Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) shareholders rejected activist hedge fund Palliser Capital's call for an independent review of the company's dual-listed structure, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

The company said that 80.65% of the votes cast at its annual general meeting on Thursday were against the proposal.

All the other resolutions were approved, per the filing.
