Jade Gas Holdings (ASX:JGH) said the ASX (ASX:ASX) granted it a waiver from a listing rule to allow it to amend the vesting conditions of 16 million performance rights held by former Chief Executive Chris Jamieson, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.

The firm is required to obtain security holder approval for the amendment after providing a clear explanation of the rationale for the proposed amendment so that holders can make an informed decision.

The firm is seeking approval for the amendment at its upcoming annual general meeting to be held on May 30.

Jade Gas Holdings' shares were up almost 3% in recent Friday trade.
