Ares Management (ARES) said Thursday it has surpassed $3 billion in assets under management for the Ares Private Markets Fund, which allows investments in private equity.
The fund, which launched in 2022, invests in a diversified portfolio of private equity fund stakes, backed by "leading private equity sponsors" in mainly North America and Europe, Ares Management said.
As of March 31, the fund had over 276 total investments across over 7,500 underlying portfolio companies, the investment manager said.
