SharkNinja recalled more than two million pressure cookers citing a defective lid that can result in burn injuries.

The company said Thursday that certain models of its multi-function pressure cookers have lids that can be opened while the device is in use, potentially allowing hot contents to escape and burn users.

SharkNinja said it has received 106 reports of burn injuries about these devices, including more than 50 reports of second- or third-degree burns to the face or body, with 26 lawsuits filed.

The recall covers more than 1.8 million units in the U.S., in addition to nearly 200,000 units that were sold in Canada.

Model numbers OP300, OP301, OP301A, OP302, OP302BRN, OP302HCN, OP302HAQ, OP302HW, OP302HB, OP305, OP305CO and OP350CO are included in the recall, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

SharkNinja, known for its blenders, vacuums and other home gadgets, said consumers should immediately stop using the device's pressure-cooking function and contact the company for a replacement lid. Consumers can continue to use the product's air frying and other functions, it added.

The devices, which are black and have a 6.5-quart capacity, were sold nationwide from January 2019 to March 2025 at retailers including Walmart, Costco and Amazon, as well as direct-to-consumer through SharkNinja's website. They retailed for about $200.
