Uber Technologies (UBER) said Thursday it has entered into a multi-year strategic partnership with tech firm May Mobility, which plans to deploy thousands of autonomous vehicles on the Uber platform over the next few years.
May Mobility will provide a fleet Toyota Sienna Autono-MaaS vehicles equipped with its Multi-Policy Decision Making technology, Uber said in a statement.
May Mobility plans an initial launch in Arlington by the end of the year, and then expand to additional US markets in 2026, according to the statement.
