Codrus Minerals (ASX:CDR) received a permit to drill up to 30 drill holes totalling 14,000 meters at the Bull Run gold project in Oregon, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.
The firm has been engaging with local drilling contractors familiar with the area to facilitate rapid mobilization to the site, and a contract award is imminent, per the filing.
It is also assessing historical data and advancing drill targeting and planning.
Codrus Minerals' shares jumped 30% in recent trading on Friday.
