Golar LNG Ltd. has announced the Final Investment Decision $(FID.AU)$ and the fulfillment of all conditions for a 20-year re-deployment charter of the FLNG Hilli Episeyo, set to be chartered to Southern Energy S.A. Additionally, Golar has signed definitive agreements for a 20-year charter for the MKII FLNG, which is under conversion in China. The contracts, expected to start in 2027 and 2028 respectively, are projected to generate $13.7 billion in earnings over 20 years for Golar, with potential additional revenue linked to commodity prices. The project has received full government support, including a 30-year LNG export authorization, marking a significant milestone for Argentina's LNG exports.
