英国石油巨头壳牌公司周五公布了强于预期的第一季度利润，并保持了其股票回购计划的步伐，尽管利润与去年同期相比下降了四分之一以上。

　　该公司公布今年前三个月调整后盈利为55.8亿美元，超过分析师预期的50.9亿美元，但较去年同期的77.3亿美元下降了约28%。

　　对投资者来说，大型石油公司的股东回报一直是一个热点问题，尤其是在行业利润从2022年的创纪录高位继续下滑的情况下。

　　近几个月来，疲软的需求前景、原油价格下跌以及美国总统特朗普快速变化的贸易政策扰乱了投资者的情绪。

　　壳牌周五宣布了另一项35亿美元的股票回购计划，预计将在未来三个月内完成。该公司表示，这是其连续第14个季度至少进行30亿美元的回购。

　　壳牌首席执行官Wael Sawan称这一收益是“又一个坚实的结果”。

　　Sawan在一份声明中表示：“我们强劲的业绩和弹性资产负债表使我们有信心在未来三个月开始再进行35亿美元的回购，这与我们在3月份的资本市场日（Capital Markets Day）上制定的战略方向一致。”

　　壳牌重申，到2025年，其年度投资预算将减少200亿美元至220亿美元。

　　今年3月，壳牌宣布了增加股东回报和削减支出的计划，并加倍推进液化天然气（LNG）业务。
