Charter Hall Acquires AU$200 Million in Convenience Retail Assets

Charter Hall Group (ASX:CHC) has acquired AU$200 million worth of convenience retail assets in the past four months, including the recent off-market purchase of Corio Village Shopping Centre in Victoria for AU$146 million, according to a Sunday statement by the company.

The asset was secured at a 7% cap rate and is expected to deliver accretive returns driven by forecast income growth, the real estate group said.
