Odaily星球日报讯 Coinbase 近日通过信息自由法案（FOIA）获取并公开了一批美国证券交易委员会（SEC）的内部通信文件，其中显示纽约州总检察长办公室在 2023 年对 KuCoin 提起诉讼期间曾要求美 SEC 明确将以太坊（ETH）认定为证券。 纽约投资者保护局局长 Shamiso Maswoswe 在一封信中表示，希望美 SEC 提交法庭之友意见书，支持 ETH 属于证券的观点，以加强投资者保护。不过，美 SEC 最终未采纳该请求，但文件揭示了监管机构对 ETH 定性问题的内部讨论，尤其是在以太坊转向 PoS 共识机制后。Coinbase 表示，此次披露旨在提高监管透明度，促进公众对加密资产监管政策的理解。（CoinDesk）
