San Francisco 49ers star player George Kittle has become the highest-paid tight end in NFL history thanks to his four-year extension-and much of his previous $75 million contract went into creating a serene farm sanctuary in Tennessee.

The 31-year-old made history when he reached an agreement with the California-based team to extend his contract by four years for $76.4 million.

The move, which Kittle announced on the popular podcast, "Bussin' With The Boys," makes him the highest-earning tight end and will have him receiving and blocking footballs for the NFL team through 2029.

Discussions about his extension deal began as Kittle was entering the final year of his five-year, $75 million contract.

Kittle-who was drafted in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft-boasts an impressive career, with him receiving 7,380 yards, 538 receptions, and 45 touchdown receptions, making him third all-time in his career.

His impressive stats have not only garnered him praise within the football world; they have also allowed him to build an awe-inspiring property portfolio.

Although he plays on the West Coast, Kittle has laid down his roots in music city, calling Nashville home for many years.

He previously held the keys to a modest, four-bedroom home near downtown Nashville. But in October 2020, he leveled up with the purchase of a huge Tennessee ranch.

The ranch in nestled on 178 acres and in Kingston Springs, Tenn., which is just 30 minutes from bustling Nashville.

Kittle and wife Claire bought the enormous spread west of Nashville for $3.47 million. A modern farmhouse on the property was built in 2017 and is accompanied by a 1-acre pond, creeks, and a pasture. The large property had originally been listed for $4.5 million.

Since splashing out the cash on the property, Kittle has transformed it into the perfect secluded sanctuary.

In addition to the stunning four bedrooms, the NFL star has used the outdoor "barn" as his own private gym.

While speaking to Niners Nation, he revealed that he transformed the three-story horse barn into a chic gym complete with treadmills, bikes, squat racks, and more.

"It was a horse barn, and we poured some cement, cleaned up a whole bunch of stuff, the interior of it, and remodeled a lot of it. It turned out to be exactly what I wanted it to be. The whole recovery room, yoga room, massage room," he revealed.

He revealed that he created the gym to make sure he never stopped perfecting his craft.

"There isn't really an offseason with me. My goal is, I wanna win a SuperBowl. I wanna be the best player that I can possibly be and I can't do that without state-of-the-art equipment, state-of-the-art facility," Kittle said to ESPN in 2021.

And to ensure he doesn't lose his touch during the off-season, Kittle has even built a small football field outside his property.

Although he stays dedicated to his career, Kittle has made sure to blend work with fun on his property by adding a stunning golf course, which boasts four par 3s and two par 4s.

While speaking with I am Athlete in 2022, he explained, "I have plenty of space, and he [Kittle's friend] was like, 'Let's just go mow a golf course'. So me and one of my buddies we mowed everything down to like one inch and put flags up for four par 3s and two par-4 golf holes."

The picturesque property comes complete with a stone pathway that leads to the front door and to the patio chairs and fire pit that allow guests to enjoy the Southern sun and the lush greenery.

Elsewhere outside the home, there is a fishing pond for the NFL star to unwind.

The home's interior perfectly blends rustic charm with modern elegance and features an open floor plan and a chef's kitchen complete with state-of-the-art appliances.
