Valvoline has hired Kevin Willis as its next chief financial officer.
Valvoline on Thursday said Willis, who currently serves as finance chief of Ashland, joins the Lexington, Ky., provider of auto-maintenance services on May 19 to succeed Mary Meixelsperger, who last year announced plans to retire.
Ashland earlier this week announced the pending departure of Willis, who has been its chief financial officer since 2013.
Valvoline said Willis, 59 years old, will receive an annual base salary of $650,000 and an annual bonus with a target of 75% of his base pay.
The company said Meixelsperger, who has been finance chief since 2016, will remain through a transition period.
