BlockBeats News, May 8th, US President Trump has hinted at an upcoming "most significant" announcement, with JPMorgan advising investors that if the announcement boosts the market, investors should be bullish.

On Tuesday, Trump revealed during a meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau in the Oval Office that he plans to make a "very, very important announcement" before his upcoming visit to the Middle East next week.

In response, JPMorgan stated that Trump indicated he would make this announcement "before departing on Thursday, Friday, or Monday of next week," and to front-run this announcement, investors should buy call options, especially on the S&P 500 Index.

JPMorgan's Head of Americas Equity Derivatives Strategy, Bram Kaplan, wrote in a note: "Given other key catalysts for the next week, the potential for systematic strategy re-levering to reinforce the upward move, and the recent normalization of short-term implied volatility levels over the past few weeks, hedging short-term upside risks is warranted."
