市场正在期待美联储将于美东时间周三公布的利率决议。根据芝商所的“美联储观察”工具，交易员们预计美联储本周维持利率不变的可能性超过98%。
与此同时，市场迫切地希望从美联储的政策声明和美联储主席鲍威尔在随后的新闻发布会上的讲话中寻找有关利率未来可能走向的暗示。美国总统特朗普在近段时间一再向美联储施压，要求其降低利率，并一度威胁要解雇鲍威尔——尽管之后已改口称无意解雇鲍威尔。
