Joyful Honda (TYO:3191) reported a profit of 6.24 billion yen for the nine months ended March 20, marking a 2.6% increase from the previous year, according to a Friday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Basic earnings per share for the period stood at 100.65 yen, up from 97.27 yen the previous year. Net sales for the nine-month period rose 2.2% to 95.42 billion yen.
For the fiscal year ending June 20, the company forecasts attributable profit of 8 billion yen, a 12% decline from the previous year, and basic earnings per share of 129.44 yen. Net sales are expected to reach 128 billion yen, up 0.9% from the previous year.
Joyful Honda projects total annual dividend of 64 yen per share for the fiscal year, which includes a special 50th-anniversary dividend of 5 yen per share for the year-end dividend.
