ON Semiconductor Corporation (NASDAQ:ON) will release earnings results for the first quarter, before the opening bell on Monday, May 5.

Analysts expect the Scottsdale, Arizona-based company to report quarterly earnings at 50 cents per share, down from $1.08 per share in the year-ago period. ON Semiconductor projects to report quarterly revenue at $1.4 billion, compared to $1.86 billion a year earlier, according to data from Benzinga Pro.

On April 14, ON Semiconductor announced it ceased efforts to acquire Allegro MicroSystems and withdrew its all-cash proposal of $35.10 per share after determining there was "no actionable path forward."
