BlockBeats 消息，5 月 8 日，据 Financewire 报道，比特币 Layer2 开发商 Alpen Labs 宣布推出以比特币为抵押品的稳定币“BTD”。BTD 将以比特币作为完全超额抵押，以中立协议形式运行，不受治理或投机性代币影响，且自部署起代码不可更改。
BlockBeats 此前报道，1 月 13 日 Alpen Labs 完成 850 万美元战略融资，DBA 和 Cyber Fun 共同领投，Ribbit Capital、Castle Island Ventures 和 Geometry 等参投。2024 年 4 月 10 日，Alpen Labs 完成 1060 万美元融资，由 Ribbit Capital 领投，Castle Island Ventures、Robot Ventures 和 Axiom Capital 参投。
