Huaihe Energy Group (SHA:600575) proposed to shut down and dismantle units 1 and 2 of the Pansan Power Plant in Huainan City, Anhui Province, China, according to a Shanghai Stock Exchange filing on April 30.
The units have a combined capacity of 270,000 kilowatts.
The proposal, which will be submitted to the board of directors, is aligned with the state's plan to phase out outdated coal power plants, the Chinese coal logistics company said.
