智通财经APP获悉，5月8日，香港特区行政长官已核准唐家成再度出任香港交易及结算所有限公司(香港交易所)主席，任期即时生效。该核准是根据《证券及期货条例》(第571章)作出。唐家成的主席任期至他担任香港交易所董事会成员的任期完结为止，即在香港交易所2027年股东周年大会完结后届满。
香港交易所董事于2025年4月30日的董事会会议中，再次推选唐家成为香港交易所主席。香港交易所是《证券及期货条例》下的认可交易所控制人，该条例第69(1)条声明，任何人除非已获行政长官书面核准，否则不可担任属认可交易所控制人的公司主席。
香港财政司司长陈茂波表示，在唐家成的领导下，香港交易所推进了多项改革，包括优化上市审批流程、落实特专科技上市渠道、筹设“科企专线”、推出恶劣天气下的交易安排等。相信香港交易所在他的带领下，将继续致力提升香港资本市场的竞争力，巩固提升香港作为环球领先的国际金融中心地位。
