Sandisk (SNDK) reported a fiscal Q3 adjusted loss late Wednesday of $0.30 per diluted share, swinging from profit of $0.57 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.38.
Revenue for the quarter ended March 28 was $1.70 billion, compared with $1.71 billion a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $1.62 billion.
The company said it expects between adjusted loss of $0.10 and adjusted earnings of 0.15 per share in fiscal Q4, on revenue of $1.75 billion to $1.85 billion. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect an adjusted loss of $0.09 on revenue of $1.75 billion.
Shares rose nearly 2% in after-market activity Wednesday.
