Hillgrove Resources (ASX:HGO) said it produced 811 tonnes of copper in April, in line with its mine plan and expected grade for the month, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The mining firm is on track to achieve a June quarter production guidance of greater than the 2,952 tonnes produced in the March quarter, the filing said.
Preparatory works for the accelerated Nugent area production strategy have now been completed, and accelerated underground development began in late April.
