Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste Says April Passenger Traffic Rises 3.8%

Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste SAB de CV (ASR) said Monday that 6.03 million passengers traveled through its airports in April, up 3.8% from the same month last year.

The company said traffic increased 13.5% year over year at San Juan Airport in Puerto Rico, with international travel rising nearly 30% and domestic up 11.6%.

In Colombia, total traffic went up by 4.8% from April 2024, led by a 15.6% increase in international passengers, while domestic travel grew 2%, ASUR said.

Passenger numbers in Mexico were roughly flat, climbing 0.5%, as a 5.1% gain in domestic travelers helped offset a 3.3% drop in international volume, ASUR added.

Total passenger volume across ASUR's network from January through April reached 24.6 million, up 1% from the same period in 2024.
