Left Field Printing Unit to Buy Australian Bookbinding Business

Left Field Printing (HKG:1540) unit Marvel Printing agreed to acquire the bookbinding and print finishing business and related assets of Marvel Bookbinding and Printfinishing for up to around AU$7.5 million, a Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing said.

The business is being carried out by the seller in Melbourne, Australia, while the assets include plant, equipment, inventory, and goodwill, according to the printing firm.

Wayne Eastaugh and his son, Richard Eastaugh, have also been granted an option to purchase 25% of the issued shares in Marvel Printing for AU$1.5 million.

The seller is acting as a trustee for the Marvel Bookbinding & Printfinishing Unit Trust, the ultimate beneficiaries of which are Wayne Eastaugh, Leanne Robinson, and Leslie Robinson.
