韩国政府周二公布的数据显示，韩国老年痴呆症患者总共持有价值153.5万亿韩元（约合1109亿美元）的资产，相当于该国国内生产总值（GDP）的6.4%。

　　据韩国高龄化社会人口政策委员会统计，截至2023年，共有124万名65岁以上的老年痴呆症患者拥有这些资产。

　　其中，老年痴呆症患者拥有的金融资产为33.4万亿韩元，房地产为113.8万亿韩元。

　　该委员会预测，到2050年，老年痴呆症患者持有的资产将超过488万亿韩元，占韩国国内生产总值（GDP）的15.6%。

　　该委员会表示：“老年痴呆症患者只占总人口的2.4%，但他们的资产价值却占国内生产总值（GDP）的6.4%，财富集中度过高。”

　　该机构还表示：“因痴呆症导致的资产冻结将对实体经济产生重大影响。”

　　该委员会计划，每年监测“痴呆症资金”的变化情况，并讨论改善民间和公共信托体系以及痴呆症专利监护制度的政策。
