Matthew McManus was named the chief operating officer of Fold Holdings.
McManus will assume the role on April 21, the bitcoin financial services company said Monday.
Prior to joining Fold, McManus was chief product officer at Unchained Capital. Before that, he worked at companies including Twitter, Capital One, PBS, National Geographic and Marriott, Fold said.
McManus will receive an annual base salary of $360,000.
