据路透社当地时间5月5日报道，行业组织 ANFAC 发布的注册数据显示，今年1—4月的西班牙车市中，包括纯电和混动在内的电动汽车销量增长了54%，而特斯拉在当地的销量则较去年同期下降了17%。

其中，特斯拉在4月的销量同比大幅下降36%。与之相对应的是，今年以来，中国汽车制造商中的比亚迪、名爵在西班牙的销量分别增长了644%、80%。

外媒表示，特斯拉的销量下滑源于两方面原因，其中一方面来自中国电动车企的竞争，另一方面则是由于该公司CEO马斯克多次公开对欧洲极右翼政治的支持，导致了在美国和欧洲等地大量消费者对特斯拉的抵制。

4月底，《华尔街日报》还曾报道称，由于特斯拉股价持续下跌，一些投资者对公司CEO马斯克投身政治感到不满，特斯拉董事会已联系猎头公司，开始寻找新的CEO人选。

随后，马斯克和特斯拉董事会均否认了该消息，马斯克还提到，从5月开始，他将“大幅减少管理政府效率部的时间，并把更多时间投入特斯拉”。而白宫办公厅主任苏茜·怀尔斯则在日前透露，马斯克本人已不在白宫实体办公。
