Technology stocks fell pre-bell Monday as the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) was 1% lower and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) recently declined by 4%.
ON Semiconductor (ON) shares were up over 1% after the company reported lower Q1 non-GAAP earnings and revenue that still topped analysts' expectations.
