Wendy's Expected Free Cash Flow, International Expansion Opportunities Create Upside -- Market Talk

0857 ET - Wendy's current stock price provides a value-oriented opportunity with significant upside, say JPMorgan analysts in a research note. The burger chain's equity value is expected to grow as the analysts see a healthy free cash flow profile through FY28. They boost their rating to overweight from neutral but lower the price target to $15 from $17. "This view is also formed after significantly de-risking the achievement of near term comps expectations and opportunity for medium-long term development--especially in underpenetrated international markets," say the analysts. Wendy's rises 1.2% to $12.71 premarket. (denny.jacob@wsj.com; @pennedbyden)
