OD6 Metals (ASX:OD6) said the high-grade drilling results confirmed historically mined mineralization from surface at the Golf Creek copper project in New South Wales, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
Significant intercepts from the drilling included eight meters at 1.41% copper, 1.26% zinc, and 7.08 grams per tonne grade of silver from 108 meters, as well as six meters @ 1.32% grade of copper, 2.82% grade of zinc, and 9.02 g/t silver from 116 meters.
Magnetic modelling confirmed potential repeat extensional target structures along strike, and new geological interpretations will guide further drilling as the firm plans to restart exploration at the project.
Downhole electromagnetics is set to be undertaken on select drill holes in the future.
Its shares fell 11% on market close.
