Schroders saw 7.4 billion pounds sterling in first-quarter net outflows on Thursday following a mass withdrawal of cash from its joint-venture funds in China, Reuters reported the same day.
The British fund manager's flows were hit by the 8.5-billion-pound cash-out from joint ventures during the quarter, mainly from China, the report said.
Schroders operates two fund ventures with Bank of Communications (HKG:3328, SHA:601328), according to the report.
