Beijing Wantai Biological Pharmacy Enterprise's (SHA:603392) human immunodeficiency virus or HIV urine self-test kit was included in the World Health Organization's list of prequalified in vitro diagnostic products, according to a Shanghai Stock Exchange filing on Wednesday.
The product, the HIV Type I Urine Antibody Diagnostic Kit (Colloidal Gold Method), was the Chinese pharmaceutical company's third HIV diagnostic product that received a prequalified certification from WHO, the filing said.
