ReNew Gets $100 Million Investment From UK's BII for Solar Manufacturing Projects

ReNew Energy Global (RNW) said Tuesday it secured a $100 million investment from UK development finance institution British International Investment to boost its solar manufacturing business in India.

The investment will be made in ReNew Photovoltaics, the company's solar manufacturing unit in India, ReNew Energy said.

The investment will see BII buy a minority stake in ReNew Photovoltaics, the company said, adding the deal is subject to approvals from lenders and regulators.
