LY Corp. Annual Profit Jumps 36% as Revenue Climbs

LY Corp. (TYO:4689) posted a 35.6% rise in net profit attributable to shareholders for the fiscal year ended March to 153.47 billion yen, according to a Wednesday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

Earnings per share rose to 20.92 yen from 15.04 yen a year earlier. Revenue grew 5.7% to 1.917 trillion yen.

The tech conglomerate, formed through the integration of LINE and Yahoo Japan, raised its year-end dividend to 7 yen per share from 5.56 yen. The company plans to maintain this dividend for the current fiscal year.

LY forecasts revenue of 2.1 trillion yen for the year ending March 2026, up 9.5%, and adjusted EBITDA of 500 billion to 510 billion yen. Adjusted EPS is projected to rise to between 25.9 yen and 26.9 yen.
