Kulicke & Soffa Industries' Fiscal Q2 Adjusted Loss Narrows, Revenue Falls; Provides Fiscal Q3 Guidance

Kulicke & Soffa Industries (KLIC) reported a fiscal Q2 adjusted loss Tuesday of $0.52 per diluted share, narrower than a loss of $0.95 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.19.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 29 was $162 million compared with $172.1 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $165.9 million.

The company expects fiscal Q3 adjusted EPS of $0.05 plus or minus 10%. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $0.35.

Revenue for the fiscal quarter is projected to be about $145 million, plus or minus $10 million. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $191.3 million.

Shares of the company fell 7.4% in Tuesday's after-market trading.
