Regis Resources (ASX:RRL) said it was progressing its growth strategy through a pipeline of near-term and low-capital-intensity underground growth targets in fiscal year 2025, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
It plans to ramp up production from an underground mining operation at Garden Well Main, part of its Duketon gold project in Western Australia. It plans to grow the project to at least four underground mines by fiscal year 2027, and it is targeting the delivery of 200,000 ounces to 250,000 ounces of gold at the project from fiscal year 2028.
It also plans to ramp up the Havana open pit and progress the development of the Havana underground operations at its Tropicana gold project, also in Western Australia, and reduce waste movement from fiscal year 2025. The firm is targeting 130,000 ounces to 145,000 ounces of gold production from the project in fiscal 2028.
