Transurban is cutting 300 jobs, or about 7 per cent of its direct workforce, as the toll road group faces a backlash against privatised roads in its biggest market and tries to boost profits.
Transurban has about 4100 direct employees. Staff who are set to lose their jobs will be informed on Thursday.
