Abbisko Founder Boosts Shareholding to Nearly 12%

Abbisko Cayman's (HKG:2256) founder, CEO, and chairman, Xu Yao-Chang, acquired 30,000 shares of the company on Tuesday from the secondary market at HK$7.96 apiece.

As a result of the acquisition, Xu now holds 80 million shares, equivalent to an 11.77% stake, in Abbisko, according to a Tuesday bourse filing with the Hong Kong Exchange.

In addition, the drugmaker said it repurchased a total of 4.79 million shares for HK$35 million from March 3 to May 6 as part of its stock buyback plan.
