特斯拉取消Cybertruck续航扩展器销售计划，将返还客户定金
IT之家5月8日消息，特斯拉宣布取消其Cybertruck车型的续航扩展器销售计划，并已通知此前支付了2,000美元定金的客户，将全额退还他们的定金。
根据社交媒体和论坛上客户分享的邮件内容，特斯拉并未在邮件中说明取消该配件销售的具体原因。不过，这一通知发布于公司悄然从其官网配置器中移除该配件选项一个月后。续航扩展器原本计划安装在Cybertruck的货箱中，是特斯拉为解决该车型续航里程低于最初承诺而推出的一种补救措施。在Cybertruck首次亮相时，特斯拉曾宣称该车型将有多个版本，其中一款的续航里程可达500英里（IT之家注：约804.67公里）。然而，目前长续航版的Cybertruck在单次充电下只能行驶350英里（约563.27公里）。
去年年底Electrek曾报道，该续航扩展器原计划于2025年初开始发货，但特斯拉随后推迟发货时间至2025年中期，并将其承诺的续航里程从470英里下调至445英里（约 716.16公里）。
此前，马斯克曾表示，他预计特斯拉每年将销售25万至50万辆Cybertruck。然而，最近的一次召回事件显示，该车型在过去15个月内仅售出不到5万辆。目前尚不清楚特斯拉取消续航扩展器计划是否是因为该车型销量远低于预期，使得为该车型生产新配件不具性价比，还是另有其他原因。
