立法会昨日(7日)通过《2025年印花税(修订)条例草案》，落实2025至2026年度《财政预算案》的建议，将征收100元印花税的物业价值上限由300万元提高至400万元，以减轻购买楼价较低物业人士的负担。财经事务及库务局局长许正宇表示，根据2024至2025年度的物业交易数据，当局预计约有1.1万宗交易受惠，占总交易量约15%，政府预料每年收入将减少约4亿元。
以410万元的物业(即超过400万元的物业)为例，旧有税率下买家须缴付6.15万元印花税，但按建议税率，买家只须缴付2.01万元印花税，减幅达67%。(gc/u)
