Chesapeake Utilities Raises Dividend 7%

Chesapeake Utilities has approved a 7% increase to its quarterly cash dividend, raising it to 68.5 cents per share from 64 cents.

The new dividend is equal to $2.74 per share on an annual basis, the company said Wednesday. The payout represents a yield of 2% based on Wednesday's closing share price of $134.05.

The new dividend will be payable July 7 to shareholders of record at the close of business on June 16.

The company last raised its dividend to 64 cents from 59 cents in May 2024.
