路透5月6日 - Alphabet旗下GOOGL.O自动驾驶部门Waymo周一表示，该公司计划与加拿大汽车零部件供应商合作伙伴麦格纳国际MG.TO合作，最快于今年在亚利桑那州的一家新工厂生产采用其自动驾驶技术的捷豹I-PACE和Zeekr汽车。
Waymo公司于2009年在谷歌内部启动了一个小型自动驾驶项目，在这个棘手的自动驾驶汽车市场，由于投资激增、严格的监管要求和艰难的技术障碍，Waymo公司的发展缓慢而稳定。
