Utilities Up as Traders Chase Momentum in Sector -- Utilities Roundup

Shares of power producers ticked up as traders continued to pile into the leading S&P 500.

French water and infrastructure firm Veolia agreed to buy Caisse de Depot et Placement du Quebec's minority stake in its Water Technologies and Solutions unit for $1.75 billion, taking full ownership.

Danish renewable-energy company Orsted said it would discontinue its Hornsea 4 offshore wind project in the U.K. due to rising costs, warning that the closure would hurt earnings this year.
