智通财经APP获悉，埃克森美孚(XOM.US)周三表示，该公司签署了一项长期销售协议。根据该协议，该公司将每年从位于得克萨斯州贝敦的低碳氢和氨生产设施向日本丸红株式会社(Marubeni Corp.)供应约25万吨低碳氨。据悉，这是埃克森美孚位于得克萨斯州贝敦的低碳氢和氨生产设施签署的第一份客户协议。
丸红株式会社将主要将这些低碳氨供向神户发电厂，并同意收购埃克森美孚低碳氢和氨生产设施的部分股权。该协议取决于埃克森美孚是否做出最终投资决定，推进贝敦氢设施的建设。该公司表示，预计将在2025年年底前做出决定，具体取决于有利的政府政策和监管许可。
埃克森美孚表示，这家贝敦氢设施投产后预计将成为全球同类设施中规模最大的。该公司补充称，预计该工厂每天将生产10亿立方英尺由天然气制成的氢气，其中超过98%的相关二氧化碳将被捕获并安全储存在地下。
