梅茨勒资产管理公司首席经济学家埃德加·沃克表示，尽管市场普遍预期美联储今年将降息，但其可能选择全年按兵不动。

　　“我的预期是美联储今年不会降息，但考虑到不确定性，一两次降息是合理的。”他补充道。

　　沃克指出，尽管美国劳动力市场保持韧性，但核心通胀率或将在年底前升至4%。与此同时，梅茨勒仍预计欧洲央行今年将降息三次，“但两到三次降息是更现实的结果”。

　　根据伦敦证交所集团（LSEG）数据，货币市场当前预计欧洲央行今年还将降息两次，将存款利率调降至1.75%。而针对美联储，市场仅计入略超两次的降息预期。
