公开资料显示，正力新能是中国的锂离子电池制造商，以市场需求和技术驱动开发多元电池产品组合。公司主要专注于动力电池产品及储能电池产品的研发、生产及销售，提供电芯、模组、电池包、电池簇、电池管理系统的一体化方案，致力于拓展电化学产品的大规模应用。值得注意的是，正力新能董事长曹芳系福耀玻璃董事长曹德旺的胞妹，同时曹德旺也间接入股正力新能。
于往绩记录期间，公司主要专注于销售用于电动汽车的电池产品。作为电动汽车电池市场装机量十大参与者之一，公司所处的中国动力电池行业竞争激烈且集中，于2024年十大制造商占总装机量的95.3%。根据中国汽车动力电池产业创新联盟的资料，按2024年的装机容量计，公司于中国动力电池制造商中占有1.8%的市场份额。
